Public Safety

Save Nevada is helping candidates who will reverse soft on crime policies such as AB236 (2019), which made it easier to shoplift and steal from our big box stores and small businesses and have no consequences. Shampoo, toothpaste, make-up, as far seeing cereal is being locked up behind plexiglass doors now in our Walgreens, Targets, CVSs due to theft from the homeless and everyday Nevadans struggling with a high cost of living. It is a goal to make Nevada a constitutional carry state again and bring better stand your ground self-defense laws back. It should be legal to protect yourself and your private property. Policies such as garnishing wages, opportunity to pay back what was stolen should be brought back to our state laws to reduce retail and home theft.

Taxes and Cost of Living

Save Nevada is helping fiscally conservative candidates who support lowering taxes and bringing fiscal policies back to the way it used to be. Repeal and cut gas taxes, sales taxes, business license fees, DMV fees, property taxes etc. All of these things add up and hurt everyday Nevadans pockets, which has contributed to higher cost of living. Nevada DMV has over thousands of reported unregistered vehicles due to high cost of living and yearly registration.

Formula 1 and traffic cones!!!

Save Nevada would like to help get county commissioners in Clark County that will get Las Vegas out of the disastrous formula 1 contract deal that has impacted the community such as casino workers going to work and home, Uber drivers, taxi drivers, food delivery drivers, and small business that have been blocked off from the traffic mess, the construction and road repairs the projects are doing. Many road repair projects have also been a problem across Las Vegas with tractors and cones sitting around, and no work is being done (as addressed in government spending section), we need to see better transparency, efficiency at repairing our roads one street at a time. We have seen as many as all roads in 5 square miles being worked on at the same time, making it difficult and unsafe for Nevadans to drive around and get to work and run errrands every day. We demand more responsible road repair projects.

Government Spending

Save Nevada is helping candidates who will focus on transparency and efficiency of our spending on everyday services such as education, public road repairs, infrastructure, police, firefighters. Cones and parked tractors are everywhere in Clark County, no work is being done. CCSD, school districts, and police departments payout millions in lawsuits every year, millions of tax dollars funnel and wasted to non-profits and corporations that milk the system and don’t solve the problems.

Reduce our homeless!

Homelessness has been a new issue. Homeless have been camping on our sidewalks, local parks, empty strip malls, businesses when they are closed, stealing shampoo from stores (as mentioned before in public safety). Kids walk by them before and after school being bothered for money. Save Nevada wants to help candidates that can bring solutions without raising taxes to the table that will fix this right away getting them off the street, transition to rehab and shelters, this will help protect our small businesses and public safety.

We have our own Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom who mocked our homeless living under one of his campaign A frame signs. We must get new county commissioners in.

STOP THE HOLLYWOOD HANDOUT AND CORPORATE WELFARE

There seems to be a special legislative session every cycle over some project that involves funding from the taxpayers and will benefit billionaires who have the money to invest already in the project.

Save Nevada is willing to help candidates that will make a billion-dollar corporations play by the same rules as our mom-and-pop shops/small businesses have, too. Your money, your business. Small businesses are what makes the backbone of our economy. The American dream is getting harder and harder to open and run a small business. We are seeing Dotty's and PTs taking over, monopolizing the mom-and-pop bars. We need to cut business license fees, licensing requirements and regulations that will help everyone get the same start as the existing billion-dollar companies. Save Nevada advocates for free market laissez-faire economics that will give the common person a fair start and have the ability to compete with the big guy.

This also creates a competitive job market. We are all for everyone chasing the American dream to making a profit, even a billion dollars, just do not ask the taxpayers for funding and credits to start your project.

Save Nevada also wants fair use of our tax dollars that get the everyday services what the taxpayers pay for such as education, safer neighborhoods, efficient infrastructure projects etc. we do it without raising taxes.

School and student safety

Schools districts across Nevada especially Clark County School District have paid out millions in lawsuits due to violent incidents between students, teachers and staff. Let’s face reality, our schools are being ran like prisons. Students are bringing weapons to school, assaulting and jumping other students, teachers and staff. It’s not safe for teachers anymore, teachers are refusing good pay and careers due to safety. Also a small number of teachers/staff members have been involved in pedophile scandals with our students. Its not safe for students or teachers. We are trying to help both sides. Part of the problem is THE PARENTS that are raising these troubled students in their homes. Save Nevada wants to invest in candidates from the legislature and local school boards that will bring responsibilities back to parents.

One policy is reversing restorative justice that was signed by worst governor ever Sisolak. Save Nevada wants to require parents to have more engagement between with school staff/teachers to get to the root of the problem why kids are causing trouble more than ever. Accountability and responsibility needs to be put on the parent(s) that is raising of child that is bullying kids, bringing weapons, starting fights, bringing drugs etc. This problem has been going on a long time, it has gotten worse and worse over the years. We need to invest candidates that will focus on kitchen table issues, don’t expect teachers unions and what politicians they pick to come save your kids. We are trying to

Save Nevada and protect our teachers as well. We don’t want our kids living in a police state with metal detectors and “prison guards” babysitting inmates. We want our schools to be fun, safe and an environment where kids can be happy to come get a good education. Save Nevada would also like to invest in candidates that will invest in better security. Maybe armed veterans walking around protecting kids also from crazy invaders and troubled students.

Housing Affordability and improve neighborhood planning

Save Nevada is looking to help candidates that will address our housing affordability crisis and seek solutions to this. Save Nevada wants to cut red tape regulations, building permit process and building codes that is making it harder to build housing, apartments, and condominiums.

  • Abolish parking minimums are reducing rents across the country we must copy in Nevada
  • Reverse the bans on Mixed Use Development it will bring more housing, bring more small businesses, reduce car traffic, make cost of living more affordable for those who cannot afford a car yet.
  • Cut Red tape regulations
  • speed up permit process
  • bring back freedom to build however you want
  • zoning reform
  • redevelop failing empty strip malls (this will bring jobs)
  • build and allow more tiny homes and studios
  • make neighborhoods and roads safe for kids and families again

Food cost crisis and agricultural

Save Nevada is looking to help candidates that will address our high cost of food and grocery crisis. We look to find ways where the free market can invest in more farms, ranches and agricultural environment in rural Nevada and work with local and corporate grocery stores that sell our home-grown products. Nevada can be the pomegranate capital of the world, the way they grow so well in the dry climate. Making it a priority on teaching kids how to grow food in school would be another goal of ours.

  • allow homeowners to grow food
  • promote more urban farms like Detroit
  • bring more farms and ranches to rural Nevada work to sell their products with local grocery stores
  • encourage more fruits and veggies planting that grow well in a dry climate like pomegranates
  • less independent on other states and countries for imports and export our products

Election Integrity

Nevadans have been concerned over the years over election integrity and IF our elections are rigged. This has also really hurt voter turnout the last few cycles. In 2024 at least 140,000 mail-in ballots in Nevada were mailed out to people who the post office reports no longer live where they’re registered. Save Nevada is all for making voting easy and accessible, however this is a BIG and costly problem in tax dollars.

Save Nevada also supports abolishing the costly dominion machines in 2020 cost tax payers around $500k. Save Nevada supports bringing back paper ballots and one day voting.

To keep voting accessible mail in voting should only be acceptable for the handicapped, sick patients, military etc we want to require that demographic to still be able to opt-in to receive a mail ballot, instead of everyone automatically receiving one, which is currently required by law. This will save tax payers money, keep voting accessible for all and restore election integrity to the voters.

Protect Women's Sports and Bathrooms

The majority democratic legislature has been submitting radical bills to the governor’s desk to allow boys who can “claim” they are transgender women to go into a women’s locker room and use the same facility as the girls in our public schools, as well as a loophole for grown boys to play sports with grown women, even as much to even forcing these policies on our small businesses. We must stop radicals like Nicole Cannizzaro, Melanie Schieble, Sandra Juaregui, Brittany Miller, Selena Torres from winning seats this election and protect our young girls. Majority democratic legislature has also brought it to the floor forcing insurance companies (which makes insurance more expensive) to pay for life changing transgender surgeries on kids when they are not even old enough to get a tattoo, drink or have a cigarette. We must help get candidates in Carson City that will stop getting these bills even past the committees.
